Refund Policy
Refund Policy for Flipp.cc
At Flipp.cc, we strive to provide a secure and transparent marketplace for the sale of domains and websites. Because our platform deals with digital assets and intellectual property, our refund policy is governed by the following terms:
1. General Principles
Due to the nature of digital transfers, all sales are final once the asset (domain or website files) has been successfully transferred to the buyer. Unlike physical goods, digital assets cannot be "returned" in a way that guarantees the buyer no longer retains a copy of the data.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
A buyer may be eligible for a full or partial refund under the following specific circumstances:
Non-Delivery: The seller fails to initiate the transfer of the domain or provide website files within the agreed-upon timeframe (typically 7 days).
Significant Misrepresentation: The asset received is fundamentally different from the listing description (e.g., the domain is blacklisted, the traffic stats were falsified, or the site lacks the features promised).
Unauthorized Transaction: If a purchase was made due to a confirmed security breach or fraudulent activity on the platform.
3. Ineligible Scenarios
Refunds will not be issued for:
Buyer’s Remorse: Changing your mind after the purchase or realizing you do not have the skills to manage the website.
External Factors: Loss of search engine rankings, changes in market value, or drops in revenue after the transfer is complete.
Domain Transfer Restrictions: Issues where a registrar places a 60-day "transfer lock" on a newly registered or recently moved domain (this is an ICANN policy, not a platform error).
4. Refund Process
To ensure safety, Flipp.cc utilizes an fair-style payment system:
Funds Held: When a buyer pays, the funds are held by Flipp.cc.
Inspection Period: The buyer has a standard 3-day inspection period (unless otherwise specified) to verify the asset.
Dispute Initiation: If there is an issue, the buyer must "Open a Dispute" before the inspection period ends.
Resolution: Our team will review the logs and communication. If the seller is found at fault, the funds will be returned to the buyer’s original payment method.
5. Seller Fees
If a refund is issued due to seller negligence or misrepresentation, Flipp.cc reserves the right to charge the seller a processing fee to cover administrative costs.
Marketplace listing fees are non-refundable.
